Development Centers
Second Foundation has US based development centers in Menlo Park, CA and Somerset, NJ. In addition, Second Foundation India has an Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Chandigarh, India. Each Center is equipped with state of the art facilities, thereby ensuring that Second Foundation's delivery capabilities are second to none.

Communications
All Centers enjoy comprehensive and fail-safe infrastructures for LAN and WAN connectivity. These include fully redundant T1 links, Gigabit Ethernet switched internal networks, managed switches / VLANs, DMZs, secure firewalls, high end routers with VPN support, etc.

In addition, the Centers have complete facilities for teleconferencing, secure local email, and collaboration / communication via Intranet and secure VPN.

Hardware and Software
The Centers are equipped with a wide range of hardware including high-end x86 workstations and Servers (IBM, Dell, HP, etc.), Sparc enterprise / workgroup servers and workstations, HP (PA-RISC) servers, AIX servers, etc. The supported platforms include Windows (2000, XP, 2003, NT) professional/client and server, Linux (multiple variants), Solaris 8/9, HP-UX 11, BSD (FreeBSD, NetBSD) and AIX.

All Centers support industry standard databases like Oracle 8/9, SQL Server 7/2000, Sybase 11/12, DB2 8 and MySQL. Supported web environments include BEA Weblogic (including Web Logic server, Studio, Web Logic Integration and Tuxedo), IBM WebSphere, Jboss, Apache and Tomcat.
